Emergencies can happen anywhere. Ensuring your team is trained to respond appropriately protects clients, saves lives, reduces workplace risk, and supports your legal and duty-of-care obligations.

Yes. Both HLTAID011 – Provide First Aid and HLTAID009 – Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) are nationally recognised units of competency. They meet the standards set by the Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA) and the Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC).

While not every role legally requires First Aid or CPR training, most employers in care-based roles are expected to have trained staff on site to meet Work Health & Safety (WHS) regulations and duty-of-care requirements. Many funding bodies and quality frameworks also expect providers to demonstrate that their teams are emergency-ready.

This training is ideal for:

  • Aged care and disability support workers
  • Community care and respite workers
  • Allied health assistants
  • Team leaders and WHS representatives
    Any staff member who may be present during a client-related emergency will benefit from this training.

  • HLTAID009 – CPR is focused solely on performing CPR , using a defibrillator (AED) and managing an unconscious person. It’s completed as a yearly refresher.
  • HLTAID011 – Provide First Aid includes CPR and covers a broader range of emergency and non-emergency scenarios, including bleeding, fractures, asthma, allergic reactions, and shock. This course is valid for three years, with CPR refreshed annually.

  • CPR Only (HLTAID009): 2 hour practical session + online.
  • Provide First Aid (HLTAID011): 1 full-day workshop or Half day practical + online.

Yes. We offer onsite training for groups of 10 or more at your organisation, making it easy and cost-effective to train your entire team in a familiar setting. We can also host your team at one of our training venues.

We offer flexible scheduling, including weekdays and weekends, depending on your team’s availability and preferred location. We’ll work with you to coordinate a time that suits your operational needs.

  • CPR (HLTAID009): $75 per person
  • Provide First Aid (HLTAID011): $130 per person
