To participate in this course there is a pre-requisite of a completed CHC33021 Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability) or CHC33015 Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability).

Australian residents living in NSW may be eligible to have all or part of their course fees subsidised using the Smart & Skilled State Government funding scheme.

Students who do not qualify for funding:

Start with a $200 deposit, then pay as little as $42.89 per week for 12 months.

Completing a disability support course with us can lead to ongoing study and career progression. After the Certificate III in Individual Support, you could pursue a Certificate IV in Disability, a Certificate IV in Ageing Support, or another community services qualification at Certificate IV level. If you complete the Certificate IV in Disability, you may choose to continue with a Diploma of Community Services. Both courses can also serve as a pathway to higher education, including diploma or bachelor-level study in related areas.

Yes, RPL is an option if you’ve done related work or study. After enrolling, submit the RPL Application Form provided in the Learner Handbook. A $250 administration fee applies to each unit you seek recognition for.

Yes, Breakthru College provides disability training online, making it easier to study at your own pace while managing other aspects of your life.

Depending on your situation and location, you may qualify for subsidised training. Breakthru College has access to State Government funding options in both Queensland and New South Wales.
