Step into a role that’s dynamic and rewarding. Aged care allows you to move beyond the ordinary and make a positive difference in people’s lives.
Being part of the aged care sector means contributing to the wellbeing of older people, their loved ones, and the wider community. It’s a rewarding job that connects you with people as they age.
With over 450,000 aged care workers nationwide, Australia’s aged care sector spans residential care, in-home services, and commonwealth support programs.
With Australia's ageing population on the rise, demand for skilled aged care workers is growing rapidly. The Australian Government projects the workforce will need to expand to 980,000. Breakthru College offers quality training to help you gain the skills and experience needed to thrive in this evolving field.
With practical experience and a strong commitment to helping others, our trainers offer more than just theory. You’ll graduate not only with a recognised qualification but with the ability to provide real, compassionate care.
Breakthru College is among the few training providers formally recognised by the Department of Education as a High-Performing Provider.
We’ve earned this recognition through consistent performance in training, support, and real-world preparation. When you enrol with us, you’re joining a provider with a history of success.

It’s not only our qualifications that attract students, but also the encouraging and inclusive atmosphere we’re proud of.
We create a space where you feel valued, inspired, and ready to learn—because we know every student is different. Many of our learners return or refer others, which says a lot.
Breakthru College delivers accredited aged care courses that blend theory with hands-on training. Each qualification includes a compulsory work placement to ensure students graduate with practical, industry-relevant experience.
This qualification prepares support workers for roles in both community and residential environments. You’ll learn how to deliver person-centred care using individualised support plans for older people.
This qualification enables support workers to perform specialised roles in various aged care settings, using their skills to provide support through the planning and review of personalised care. More autonomy and leadership are expected within clear service boundaries.
