Traineeships

Start your career with a flexible, government-funded traineeship and experience personal and professional development.

What is a traineeship?

Traineeships combine formal study with on-the-job training with the outcome of a nationally recognised qualification. Traineeships can create sustainable employment opportunities, which creates motivated and loyal employees. Attract new staff to fill the skills gap in your organisation, while receiving the benefits of wage subsidies.

Workforce shortages remain a significant challenge in the disability sector. The NDIS Review estimates that an additional 128,000 workers will be required across the NDIS sector by June 2025. Findings from the 2022 NDS State of the Disability Sector Report indicate that 80 per cent of providers received requests for services they were unable to provide, largely due to workforce shortages. Traineeships provide a solution to this shortage, while ensuring a qualified and highly skilled workforce.
